I am now trying to make the twins sleep in their own room. Our bed could no longer occupy the four of us comfortably.
So far the mission is still not accomplised....
In order to convince them to sleep in their room, after the before-sleep routines (reading story books, singing, talking, saying doa) I sleep with them too and then would quietly walk out from the room in the middle of the night (kalau aku sedar la...kalau x berlayar la sampai pagi).
The problem is, Nabilah (who mmg the clinging type since she was a baby) would always wake up after I leave and when she notices that I'm not around, she would cry. Some tips I got; just ignore her cries and instead of going to her, let her come to me.
But Nabilah is the type who cries with her high-pitched voice and wouldn't move unless I come to her. So if I let her be, she would wake her sister up (Nabihah normally sleeps soundly throughout the night unless she is disturbed) and worse, probably would wake the neighbours up too!
So parents, tell me....how can I make this work out?

Neny, dress their room up to their taste and make them love their room.Make sure they occupy their room more during the day time, the bonus part is u can avoid mess in ur common room. It worked for me and my sister before!! Just try...anyway it will take time for sure...just be patient
Nenny,, ko pernah tgk tak series Supernanny?... dlm series tu, ada tips nak atur tidur anak... parents kena consistent.. katakan,, bedtime pukul 8,, put the children into bed,,ckp, "now it time to bed",,then, bacakan buku etc (mcm kau buat tu), and then,,kau duduk kat penjuru bilik, tunduk je(part ni kelakar gak),tp, tujuan dia, anak boleh nampak kita, tp tak bleh ada verbal communication at all,, so diam je,, sampai anak tertidur, lepas tu kau bleh keluar,, tp kalau dia ikut,, letak semula kat katil dia, bgtau "time to bed", repeat the same things,, sampai diorg betul2 tido..lepas 2-3 hari,, akan jd routine.. tgk dlm Supernanny tu,, mmg success lah everytime.. bolehlah cuba,,

Zila: Oh, bilik diorg dah lama dah ready. Xde la decorate beria2 (maklum la fulus pon xde) but kita wrapped kotak peti ais yg besar tu ngan disney princess ngan wrapper utk jadi tempat susun mainan diorg, put ABC nye carpet, then since ada byk soft toys yg org bg, kita susun nicely kat window. Diorg mmg main dlm bilik tu tp still x nak tido sendiri.
Umi: really? Supernanny ye? Ok, will try it out. Thanx. By the way, aku mmg tau la ko umi aisah, even ko x bg tau pon. Aku tau nama anak ko Sophea...FB kan ada...hehehe
