Autumn is coming?

It´s been the 12 days into fasting month and it´s 1 September! Haiyak...cepatnya! Rasa cam baru je masuk tahun 2009 and now there´s only 3 months more to go before the new year.

And then it feels just like recently the weather is warm and sunny, now it´s getting windy and cold. Ok, it is still sunny outside but you can see the trees are browning, the grass drying and people start putting their sweater on. I can still walk around in my summer clothes (means just a layer of clothes) however if it not so windy. A friend told me that autumn is officially announced to begin by the end of September.

And one thing so obvious not to notice about this change of season, Nabilah starts having running nose...haih! Last autumn and winter, she had running nose for the whole seasons. It was so pitiful for her and kept me worrying if she may developed ear infection due to the non-stop flu. Hopefully H1N1 will cease in due time.

I guess it´s time to put on socks again 24 hours a day. And start taking out the jackets, strumpthose, sweat shirts, bla..bla...from under-the-bed storage. No wonder people here enjoy summer so much, because it was so short and precious and the only time you can walk around with one layer of clothes.

Oh, by the way, in terms of fasting, it is much better with shorter time of fasting from day to day and makes walking outside less difficult because if it not so hot, it makes you less thirsty. And by the time Raya comes, it is still not so cold (hopefully!) that we could put on our baju kurung and baju melayu without having to worry to wear layers of clothes inside and outside. Last year, Raya was in the middle of autumn, and I couldn´t dressed the twins in their baju kurung because it was cold. So I´m hoping this year they can wear their baju kurung if we go for Raya celebration at the consulate (dont even know yet whether the consulate will have Raya feast this year but surely they do, right?)

Raya...raya...haih...posa x abis lg, dah pikir raya?
